Women’s World Football Show welcomes Canadian Women’s National Team goalkeeper, renaissance woman and overall great person – Erin McLeod. The Olympic bronze medalist talks about her evolution as an athlete, artist and ambassador to the women’s game. As we get closer to the 2015 Women’s World Cup in Canada, Erin gives us a unique view of her country, club and colorful coach. The 31-year old reveals how she’s overcome some of the struggles she’s faced on her journey to self-discovery and the lessons she’s still learning. In a darkened sky void of athlete role models, Erin McLeod is a bright star for young fans to look up to and we’re proud to have her on the show!

The road to Canada continues as your hosts take a spirited look at the recently-revealed Women’s World Cup draw. Who has the best chances of getting out of their groups? The most fierce and fun match-ups? And which is the REAL Group of Death? All this, and we hear from USA skipper Jill Ellis.

The 2014 regular season of the Westfield W-League has docked and Cheryl Downes of The Women’s Game stops by to go over the semifinalists – Perth Glory FC, Melbourne Victory, Canberra United and Sydney FC. What were their strengths, weaknesses and MVP’s? Also Cheryl lets us know how the Aussies are taking the news of their “Group of Death” placing. Crikey!!

2014 College Cup
Are there leprechauns in Ireland? 2014 College Cup champion and Irish International, Megan Campbell doesn’t answer that, but does give us a borderline-hysterical view of her FSU experience. Alana “AJ” Johnson joins us with a full report from the tournament, as well as an interview with Texas A&M senior Kelley Monogue who discusses her intent to enter the NWSL college draft.
