Women’s World Football Show, Episode 190 features an exclusive interview with NJ/NY Gotham FC and Ghana Women’s National Team midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe
Her story is an original – a tale that is seldom told of a youngster from the Western Region of Ghana who developed a love of football and a dream to be the best! Very accomplished on the international level with the Ghana Women’s National Team, Jennifer Cudjoe had a desire to play amongst the greatest players in the world and set her sites on America. In 2013, the young midfielder came to the States and played for a few colleges, as well as various WPSL teams throughout the country.
After a successful open tryout, Jennifer caught the attention of Sky Blue FC head coach Freya Coombe and her dream of playing professionally in America has become a reality. Plus, we hear from Freya as she shares her thoughts on Jennifer and what she brings to the team.
But Jennifer isn’t done. Her lifelong dream of winning championships and continuing to hone her skills is still paramount in her heart. In this episode we talk to Jennifer about those dreams, plus we learn more about women’s soccer in Ghana, the Black Queens, and more.
