The women’s game is vibing all over the world – and boy do we need it!

Regardless of where you are, you’ve probably been enjoying a women’s soccer tournament. Women’s football is on display in places like the USA, England, Ireland, Spain, Africa, Mexico, Asia – just to name a few.

On this episode, we take a spin around the world to check in on everything from the inaugural Arnold Clark Cup Competition in England to the Concacaf W championships to the Algarve Cup, SheBelieves, and more!

And searching for those good vibes we need so desperately in today’s crazy world. We find them at the USWNT camp with head coach Vlatko Andonovski and young stars Sophia Smith and Emily Fox.

Plus, we sneak into a few California training camps (the perfect place to find those good vibrations!), as we hear from San Diego Wave FC forward Alex Morgan and head coach Casey Stoney. Then we head north to LA to catch up with Angel City defender Ali Riley and head coach Freya Coombe.

The US Women’s National Team conducted camp recently in Colorado. We hear from Lindsey Horan, Abby Dahlkemper, Lynn Williams and young phenom Sophia Smith. All the players took to ZOOM to take questions from the media. Listen in as Lindsey and Abby D talk about their new roles as veterans on the team; Lynn shares her thoughts on being a role model; and Sophia gives us a glimpse into the mind of a rookie playing along side World Cup Champions, and so much more!

Jessica McDonald

A lesson in perseverance, Jessica McDonald played for six NWSL teams in under four years. Her heart and hard work paid off as she now is one of the most decorated players in women’s football. The 2019 Women’s World Cup champion is making a name for herself as a solid striker on the USA Women’s National Team, and has most recently named to the Concacaf Women’s Olympic Qualifying roster.

Not only an amazing footballer and athlete, Jessica is also a dedicated mom to young son Jeremiah. On this episode Jess shares how motherhood has shaped her career and her motivation to be the best and to be a positive role model. Jess also tells us about her latest side hustle as a podcaster talking about mom athletes and showing all of us that life is possible even when you’re a parent! (17′)

We talk with Mykiaa about her growing-up days in Colorado, her collegiate career, the future, and more!!

Establishing herself as a leader on and off the pitch, Mykiaa looks into the future of Cougars soccer program and how she’s looking forward to the next two years. (11′)
