Former CEO of United Soccer Coaches (with 30,000 members it’s actually the largest coaches association of any sport in the world) and former CMO of American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO), Lynn Berling-Manuel has recently been appointed as Managing Director the new Women’s Independent Soccer League. Lynn stops by to discuss the new league, where it fits in the landscape of pro women’s soccer and how it will change the game for young players all over the world and the communities it will serve.

The game is growing in so many ways and WISL is part of that change. Lynn shares her vision of what the WISL can become. After a lifetime of advocacy within the game of soccer, Lynn is aiming her expertise straight towards women’s soccer!

In light of the Sally Q. Yates report on allegations of past abusive behavior and sexual misconduct in women’s professional soccer, USWNT captain Becky Sauerbrunn sits down with the press to express her thoughts and give us some insights on the mindset of the players. As an influencial voice in women’s soccer, Becky has a lot to say about the report and the changes that need to be made in the game from the youth level to the pro ranks.
